Matt Nathanson and I go way back. We went to high school together, but hadn’t crossed paths in over 30 years. So when he invited me on tour a few years ago, stepping onto the tour bus felt surreal. It could’ve gone either way. But over 100 shows later, what’s unfolded is something rare: a deep trust, a shared rhythm, and a mutual respect that’s only grown stronger. That connection lives in the images. We’ve built a rapport that allows me to capture Matt not just as a performer, but as a person, in moments both electric and unguarded.
